It creates an Independant and Adjustable Tension Zone between each eyelet of the shoe. Each tension zone is under your control and can be customized to the unique characteristics of your feet and your desired foot support and comfort level. Six distinct tension zones are created along the tongue of the shoe. The more collapsible knots within a tension zone (between two eyelets) the lesser the tension. The fewer number of knots within a tension zone (between two eyelets) the tighter the tension.
